Seychelles Flag - In the past a British state, Seychelles got autonomous on June 29, 1976. The flsg lifted around then had exchanging triangles of blue and red, isolated by a white corner to corner cross. Maybe not incidentally, that banner was actually equivalent to the one utilized by the Australasian United Steam Navigation Company, whose ships normally visited the islands in the mid twentieth century. The banner didn't keep going long: a transformation occurred on June 5, 1977, under the administration of the Seychelles People's United Party (SPUP). The new banner had red-over-green flat stripes isolated by a wavy white band, which was equivalent to the SPUP banner with the exception of the exclusion of a yellow sun in the middle.
